I’ve lived in the Greenwich area for my entire life, and I can confidently say that I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. That’s a huge reason why I decided to become a realtor: To help share my love of Old Greenwich and all that it has to offer.

As an expert realtor in Connecticut, I’ve seen plenty of stunning listings… So, when I say that this home is at the top of my favorites list, I mean it!

Life in Old Greenwich, Connecticut

For residents and tourists alike, Old Greenwich is considered a quaint waterfront town. If I had to describe the town in one word, it would definitely be “charming.”

Although it is the perfect summer resort destination, it is also great for year-round living. The close-knit community, the picturesque views, and the endless hotspots are just a few of the reasons why you’ll love it!

Dining, Shopping and Activities in Old Greenwich, CT

Even as a Greenwich resident, I can admit that most of my favorite dining and shopping spots are located in Old Greenwich – but that’s another reason why I love living here! You’ll have access to every nearby town’s amazing shops, restaurants, museums, and more.

Activities in Old Greenwich, CT

Whether you prefer nature hikes, beach days, or morning brunching, there’s an activity in Old Greenwich for everyone. Let’s explore some of my favorite spots:

Tod’s Point

My number one stop for the perfect day, regardless of the season, is Tod’s Point. It’s open from 6am to sunset every day, year round, which is perfect if you want to spend the whole day by the water.

The 147.3-acre beach is only open to Greenwich residents throughout the year, but guests can buy a $9 day pass during the summer months.

And for all of my dog owners reading this, Tod’s Point is one of the only dog friendly beaches in town! From December 1st to March 31st, leashed dogs are allowed on the beach. Just look at how much mine love it:

There’s also a nature trail that offers scenic views of the Connecticut shoreline and has accessible routes for all capabilities. It’s the perfect place for an afternoon walk, hike, bird watching… Or just for a break from the hustle and bustle!

Binney Park

Throughout the summertime, Binney Park is the place to be on Sunday nights! The free concert series is a great way to unwind before the week starts.

Across 33 acres, the park has walking paths, stone bridges, and a gazebo for those looking to take in the scenery. If you’d rather get active, you can also head down to the tennis courts or play a game of soccer or baseball.

Dining in Old Greenwich, CT

I’d consider myself a Connecticut foodie, and Old Greenwich is full of 10/10 restaurants – trust me!

If you visit any of my recommendations, make sure it’s Le Fat Poodle. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the area, especially for date night, special occasions, or girl’s night:

Here’s a shortlist of my other recommendations in Old Greenwich:

As much as I love talking about why I love Old Greenwich so much, you should experience this town for yourself! Trust me, you’ll understand why I (and many others) consider it one of the best places to live in Connecticut.
